Happy last Thursday of June! Tech leaders are always asking for quick/easy resources to help drive performance and increase effectiveness across their orgs. “The Pursuit” is dedicating the last week of the month to delivering the best resources out there. This month, I’m focusing on the best products and resources from the new-and-improved Engaged Pursuit website. Here's my June 2025 favorite in under 2 minutes…
What tech leaders should be reading this month: Engaged Pursuit’s “Guide to Successful Leadership in Tech,” a free resource now available.
Why Engaged Pursuit’s “Guide to SuccessfulLeadership in Tech” is compelling: Most tech leaders only plan for the big stuff impacting their organization: real-time feedback, change management, promotions/performance, and reporting, reporting, reporting. In my 25+ years in the industry, I’ve found that it’s the small stuff that separates the good leaders from the great ones.Engaged Pursuit’s “Guide to Successful Leadership in Tech” highlights both the big and small situations facing tech leaders today (and how to navigate with impact + inspiration).
Simple “Go-Do’s” for tech leaders/performers: Take a few seconds and:
· Check-out the elements of the guide throughout this email. If you’d like to receive aPDF version of the guide, send me a quick email.

Value Add – Additional ways to show-up as a leader: Summer is officially here! And as a former advertising agency guy, I used to love “Summer Fridays” (afternoons lite/off completely). If possible, can you create a “Summer Friday”experience for your team? Maybe it’s not completely off, but maybe a few hours of fun? Or “Iced Coffee Fridays” (Starbucks Cards)? Or “Let’s Get OutsideFridays”? You get the idea. A little bit of Friday love during the summer months can go a long way to drive engagement (and give you a break too)!
New/improved Engaged Pursuit website! Have you seen the new Engaged Pursuit website? Finally, tech leaders now have a place to go to find anti-corporate, truth-telling, human-first solutions for the toughest of tech organizational problems. Check it out today!
