Why “When We’re in Charge: The Next Generation’s Guide toLeadership” is compelling: With all the chaos + change in the market, I’m seen leaders latch onto what works best for themselves. For Baby Boomers, GenX (me!), and even (older) Millennials, that’s often a “heads-down,” plow-through-it, no balance, make-it-perfect approach. Litman reminds the leaders reading her book that the next generation of employees (GenZ+)want something different – especially during challenging times.Namely: authenticity, transparency, balance, ease, and intent. I found perspectives from leaders across GenZ especially compelling – from Even Spiegel, CEO of Snap to Maxwell Frost, the first GenX member of Congress.

Her latest, “Strong Ground” promises to help leaders show-up more courageously than ever in the age of constant change, AI, etc. While I haven’t read this yet (it’s on order!) I bet this will be another one of her famous insightful, quick, and easy-to-implement guides!
